Update 21:18

Fire crews are currently in dealing with a large building fire at a textile recycling warehouse in Millbridge, Liversedge.

12 fire appliances and 3 aerial ladder platforms are in attendance.

Residents local to the area are advised to keep doors and windows closed.  Due to the large amount of emergency vehicles at the incident please avoid the area where possible.

Update 23:30

The fire is now under control with crews being scaled back.  

Five fire appliances and one aerial ladder platform will remain at the incident.

Incident still ongoing - currently 3 pumps and 1 aerial appliance in attendance

Update 10:42, 15/03/2023:

At around 7am this morning two crews remained at the scene, using an aerial appliance and a ground monitor to control the fire. Crews started damping down just after 9am. 

A structural engineer is currently at the scene to check the integrity of the building. 

We are still advising the general public to avoid the area where possible, and for vehicles to find alternative routes.
