Crews attended to a large fire in the open containing plastics and tyres.  They used 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Fire crews were called to reports of a vehicle fire at Wyke Lane, Bradford just after 4pm today (01 June 24).

Numerous HGV trailers are involved in fire.  Appliances from Odsal, Cleckheaton, Bradford, Morley, Halifax and Fairweather Green are in attendance.

Firefighters and colleagues across the county have been dedicated to protecting people living, working, and socialising in West Yorkshire for more than 50 years.

Road traffic collision involving three cars.  Fire Service personnel extricated one casualty using specialist cutting equipment.  Casualty was left in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Fire Service made scene safe.

Fire engines from Rastrick and Slaithwaite attended.

Fire involving first floor of a two storey back to back terraced property.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire, and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear the smoke. 

Fire engines from Odsal, Fairweather Green and Bradford attended.

A newborn calf had to be rescued by our firefighters after falling five metres down a slope.

We were called to a farm in Keighley just hours after the calf was born.
