Job Purpose: To deliver high-quality ICT support services across West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service by installing, maintaining and supporting ICT equipment, systems and services, ensuring reliable technology provision and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities: You will install, configure, maintain and support ICT equipment, systems and services, diagnose and resolve technical issues, assist users with technology-related enquiries, maintain accurate asset records, and help ensure the delivery of reliable, customer-focused ICT services across West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
Essential requirements: You will have significant experience in fault diagnosis, repair, installation and configuration of networked PCs and software, alongside experience of service desk, incident and asset management processes. You will be educated to NVQ Level 3 in a computer-related subject (or equivalent experience), hold or be willing to achieve ITIL Foundation certification, and possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and support users at all levels.
