Car had gone off road down a 100ft ravine. Crews used line rescue capability to extricate male casualty from vehicle into care of Ambulance service.

Appliances from Holmfirth, Huddersfield, Skelmanthorpe and Cleckheaton attended along with specialist officers 

Crews are currently dealing with a Building fire in the Burmantofts area of Leeds. 6 Pumps, 1 Aerial and Technical Rescue unit currently in attendance. 6 Breathing Apparatus, 4 Hose Reels and Positive Pressure ventilation in use. 

Reports of a dog that had entered a fox hole and was unable to get out.  A Technical Rescue officer was sent to assess the situation before the Technical Rescue equipment was requested from Cleckheaton Fire Station.

The dog could be heard down the hole, but cameras were used to confirm the location and the dog was successfully dug out by the Technical Rescue team and reunited with its owner.

Update at 1018hrs - West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue have been working with partner agencies including North Yorkshire Fire, North Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the Environment Agency and the Highways Agency. Incident now handed over to North Yorkshire Police and all of our resources have left the scene.

Horse with two of its legs stuck in a ditch unable to stand up.

Fire crews with the assistance of a local vet, rescued the horse from the ditch and reunited it with its owner.
