The event, which will run from 5:30pm on Friday 6th November, will include a bonfire, two fireworks displays, food and drinks stalls and fairground rides. Organisers have planned a shorter, quieter fireworks display designed for younger children and people who are sensitive to loud noises at 7.45pm, which will last around ten minutes. A larger main display will follow at 8.35pm.

“We fully appreciate that an event of this size can create some temporary inconvenience for our neighbours, and we would like to thank residents in advance for their patience and understanding. We are working closely with our partners to minimise disruption as much as possible and ensure the event is safe, enjoyable and well managed for everyone."
The event is expected to raise valuable funds for the Fire Fighters Charity, which provides lifelong physical and emotional support for serving and retired firefighters, fire and rescue colleagues, volunteers and their families.
