The West Yorkshire Resilience Forum has produced the West Yorkshire Community Risk Register (CRR), linked below, which identifies the main risks that residents and businesses in West Yorkshire may face. The CRR forms the basis of multi-agency emergency planning, each risk in the register has its own risk assessment. The Forum with all its partner organisations looks at the risks and how best to ensure issues are prevented or addressed as appropriate. It is accepted that the CRR does not cover all eventualities. However, there is no need to assess every single risk, particularly those of a very low likelihood of occurring, and many risks are assessed on their impact across the entire Local Resilience Forum area.
