Vehicle Fires

Multiple calls were received in to the control room reporting cars on fire on a residential street in the Thornhill area of Dewsbury. 2 fire engines were sent and this proved to be 3 cars involved in fire. The fire had also spread to cause slight damage to the corner of a house. Fire crews used 3 hose reels and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fires. The incident was left in the hands of our fire investigation officer and West Yorkshire Police to investigate.
