All our crews and vehicles have now left the scene, leaving the incident in the hands of West Yorkshire Police and Highways England.

Incident: 17:05

Multi-vehicle collision on the M62 junction 29-30 (eastbound) with cars on fire. We have crews on the way to the scene.

Please avoid the area if possible.

 

Description:

There is a multi-vehicle incident on the M62, junctions 29 to 30 (eastbound), with a number of vehicles on fire.

Cylinders have been identified with one confirmed to have exploded. We have a number of fire engines on the way.

Please avoid the area if possible, and give way to our crews trying to reach the incident.
