Moorland Fires (Marden Clough and Blackstone Edge)
Crews have now left the scene. The incident is now closed.
Two crews and supporting moorland fire units remain at the fire at Blackstone Edge.
The fire has progressed in direction and now crews are tackling it from the Green Withens reservoir area.
Please continue to avoid the moorland, further updates will follow.
The suspected wildfire at Marsden Clough has now finished.
8 crews and the wildfire unit remain at the scene at Blackstone Edge.
We are asking all members of the public to continue the to avoid the area.
We are currently attending two further moorland fires. Locations are, Blackstone Edge and Marsden Clough (west of reservoir, between Dean Clough and Marsden Clough known as Goodbent) area.
7 crews and specialist wildfire support are on scene, across the two wildfires. 5 at the scene of Marsden Clough and 2 at Blackstone Edge.
We are asking all members of the public to stay away. Anyone currently on the moors is advised to leave the area.
