Flat Fire - Lockwood, Huddersfield Area

Firefighters from Huddersfield and Rastrick stations attended a flat fire in a house of multiple occupancy.  The incident occurred in a two-storey former chapel, approximately 30m by 15m in size, which had been converted into flats.  Firefighters tackled the blaze using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel.  A high-powered fan was deployed to ventilate the property and remove smoke.  No individuals were involved in the incident. Smoke detectors were present and activated as intended.
