Domestic property fire - Pontefract Area

Fire control received numerous calls reporting house on fire in Pontefract Area. 3 fire engines attended and this proved to be a 2 storey town house, bedroom fire which was 100% involved. Crews used  2 hose reel jets, 4 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fans to extinguish the fire. Crews also requested an aerial ladder platform appliance to check for smoke and fire spread to adjacent 2 properties. Smoke alarms had actuated upstairs. No casualties were involved.
