Description:
The fire service were called to student accommodation. This proved to be a kitchen in a shared area, 40m x 15m, 50% involved in fire. The fire was on the 3rd floor. Crews used 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and positive pressure fans used to extinguish the fire. There were no injuries or persons involved. The fire alarm had actuated.
