Domestic Property Fire - Alwoodley Area

Firefighters responded to a house fire involving an electrical consumer unit in a garage on the ground floor below a domestic property. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire, 2 positive pressure ventilation fans were used for smoke clearance. Yorkshire electricity board were requested to isolate the supply to the house and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were requested for a female occupant suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
