Building Fire - Chapeltown, Leeds Area

Two fire appliances from Leeds Station and one from Moortown attended a fire in a storeroom that had spread to the kitchen in a takeaway restaurant.  6 breathing apparatus and 3 hose reels were used to extinguish the fire.  Heavy smoke logging to property and positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear smoke.  Ambulance were requested to attend to 1 male casualty suffering with smoke inhalation, but the request was cancelled after the casualty responded to oxygen therapy administered by fire crews.
