    Building make pumps 5 aerials 1. Derelict warehouse 50 x 100 metres single storey, 20% of ground floor involved in fire.

    In use are 2 aerial appliances,  4 breathing apparatus, 2 large jets, Appliances attended from Brighouse, Elland, Halifax, Bradford and Halifax.

    Recycling Plant, Knowsthorpe Way, Cross Green, Leeds

    Building, make pumps 6 restricted.

    Recycling machine involved in fire inside the building. Fire spread to building 150m x 100m. Building contains recycled waste.

    Make pumps 6 restricted for manpower and water.

    2 jets and 1 ground monitor in use.

    Hose laying unit requested from Mirfield.

    Appliances attended from Gipton, Leeds and Hunslet.

    M62 Road Traffic Collision

    M62 Junction 26 to 25 Westbound

    Road Traffic Collision involving 3 cars near to Hartshead Moor Service Station. On arrival 1 female was trapped, casualty was extricated by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

    Pumps from Cleckheaton, Odsal and Brighouse attended.

    Mirfield Road Traffic Collision

    Leeds Road, Mirfield

    Road Traffic Collision involving 2 cars near the Three Nuns Public House, on arrival 1 male causalty was trapped, casualty was extricated by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.

    Light Aircraft Emergency

    Leeds Bradford Airport, Whitehouse Lane, Yeadon

    Report from air traffic control of a light aircraft coming into land with hydraulic failure, 9 persons on board. The aircraft landed safely and Rawdon appliance remained in attendance to assist airport crews, all other appliances and officers were returned to base, some prior to arrival. Appliances from Rawdon, Cookridge, Idle, Stanningley, Moortown, the Technical Rescue Unit from Cleckheaton

    Bingley animal rescue

    Wilson Road, Bingley

    Report of a cow in the canal between three rise and five rise locks. A specalist technical rescue officer was mobilised to assess the incident and a pump and the specalist technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton were requested to attend. Fire crews managed to get an animal rescue strap and harness around the cow and it was then led to safety and reunited, uninjured, with its owner.

    1 pump Bingley and the Technical Rescue Unit and support crew from Cleckheaton attended.

    Road traffic collision - 2 taxis involved.  1 casualty extricated by fire crews and taken to hospital by ambulance.  2 appliances from Wakefield attended.

    Outbuilding – bin store spread to outside porch roof.  Houses evacuated due to smoke.  1 hose reel and positive pressure ventilation used.  Ambulance requested for 1 male adult suffering smoke inhalation.  2 appliances from Stanningley and Leeds attended.

    Building Make Pumps 8

    Cuckoo Nest Industrial Estate, Norcroft Street, Listerhills, Bradford

    Building Fire make pumps 8 - buildings with a total area of 70m x 50m 50% involved in fire. Fire extinguished using 6 large jets, 1 aerial, 2 ground monitors and 2 breathing apparatus sets.

    Appliances from Bradford, Fairweather Green, Odsal, Idle, Cleckheaton, Bingley Stanningley, Rawdon, Elland, Leeds, Mirfeild and Castleford attended, along with other specialist appliances.

    Leeds House Fire

    Ring Road, Seacroft, Leeds

    This was a fire in a semi detached bungalow which was 100 per cent involved in fire, the fire also spread to roof void of neighbouring property. Calls indicated that persons may still be inside building but after a thorough search no persons were found to be involved. Crews used 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and 2 small jets and also used a high powered fan to clear the house of smoke. Crews requested a structural engineer to attend due to the unsafe condition of the building due to the severity of the fire.
