Delegated Powers
The Finance and Resources Committee will consider and / or determine and / or report to the Authority on the following matters :

Finance (except the levying or issuing of a precept or borrowing money)

Financial Regulations and Delegate of Powers to Chief and other officers

Insurance matters

Members' allowances, conference and seminar attendance

Claims by or against the Authority

Data protection, computer development, buildings, land and property

Agency and consultancy arrangements with other organisations (eg Kirklees MC)

Purchasing of supplies, award of tenders and contract monitoring

Membership subscriptions, expenditure on periodicals and publications

Examination of Creditors Accounts

Superannuation and gratuities
-
Responses to formal consultations
-
Receive reports on the discharge of the Authority’s obligations under any other statutory provisions such as the CIMAH regulations

Miscellaneous financial matters

To make recommendations to the Authority in matters relating to;
- Revenue budget and capital plan
- Issuing of a precept or borrowing of money
