Delegated Powers
The Executive Committee has the following roles and functions:
- Notwithstanding any standing order or terms of reference of any other committee, to deal with any matter which will not admit of delay (with the exception of those reserved to the Authority by law)
- The appointment (including all matters relating to terms and conditions) of the Chief Fire Officer / Chief Executive and Directors to the Authority
- Policy strategy and implementation relating to matters of general management of the Authority
- Member level appeals panel (as appropriate)
