The incident is being scaled back. 8 fire engines remain at scene damping down.

Thanks to the landowner who provided machinery so that we could get closer to the seat of the fire & residents for their patience as we tackle this incident.

Crews from across West Yorkshire remain at Green Ln, Silsden dealing with the ongoing barn fire & will remain on site into the evening.

There is a small amount of smoke in the area. Please keep doors/windows closed if in the local area.

Road closures are in place on Bradley Rd, Cringles Ln, Bank Ln, Jowett's Ln & Walker's Ln while we continue to tackle the incident.

Crews remain at Green Ln, Silsden dealing with the ongoing fire.

Description:

We are at the scene of a Barn Fire in the Silsden Area with 15 appliances currently in attendance. 

3 buildings are involved in the fire approx 80 x 60m.
