Two fire engines remain at Briggate, Leeds after a fire in a takeaway this morning.
The fire has been a small fire contained within the takeaway however there has been smoke logging to nearby accommodation.
The fire service received an emergency call at 07.33 hrs this morning and sent three fire engines and an aerial appliance.
The engines were from Leeds and Hunslet fire stations.
The fire was reported as out by 08.18 hrs and crews were damping down and using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
The incident has since been reduced to two fire engines.
There are reports that one person has suffered smoke inhalation as a result of the fire and an Ambulance was requested to attend the scene.
A Fire Investigation Officer is on the scene and is looking into the cause.
Network Rail were informed as a precaution due to the proximity to the train station.
