The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Department is the central point of contact for the processing and resolution of all incidents and requests relating to ICT equipment and technology services across West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. The ICT department supports and maintains the ICT infrastructure and applications throughout their lifecycle in partnership with our suppliers and supports the organisation’s business intelligence requirements. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a core part of our makeup, to ensure best in class IT Service Management and Delivery across the organisation.
The ICT Strategy sets out our vision to ‘make the most of technology to make things simpler, smarter and engaging’. It states how we will achieve the vision and how it will benefit our staff, the service, our partners and our community.
