Partnerships

The work that we do with partner organisations, like your own, is vital in helping us to reach very vulnerable people in the community to carry out Home Fire Safety Checks and reduce the risk of fire. A Home Fire Safety Check (referred to as a HFSC), carried out by a uniformed member of WYFRS can significantly reduce the risk of fire in a home through the provision of education and intervention resources.

The content of this site is designed to give an insight into the basics of Fire Safety in the home and help you to identify people who are at higher risk from fire. Its aim is to help you identify the risk factors that contribute to making an individual at high risk of having a fire, explain the things that we can do to lower this risk and help guide you through making a referral to WYFRS.
