Otley Fire Station covers the town of Otley and also the wider area of Menston, Weston and Askwith. The station area is approximately seven square miles. The station is managed by a station commander who is also responsible for Rawdon and Cookridge fire stations. The station is staffed by a full time local retained support officer and retained firefighters who operate the 'on call' retained duty system. There is a population of 19,255 and the area incorporates 8239 dwellings. The station has been in its current location since 1956 occupying a prominent position on Bondgate and borders with North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
