About

Bradford Fire Station is situated at Leeds Road and was built in 2007.  The station area covers the city centre, Manningham, Barkerend, Holmewood, West and East Bowling, Little Horton, Thornbury and Laisterdyke incorporating a total of 18,473 dwellings.  The station area is approximately 6.16 square miles and has a population of 53,339.  It is staffed by a station commander and 60 firefighters who provide emergency cover continuously throughout the year and also engage in a large range of community safety activities.
