- Issues relating to the employment of staff
- Local and national conditions of service for employees of the Authority
- Recruitment and establishments
- Industrial relations
- Application of the Equal Opportunities Policy
- Job evaluation (including ratification of appeal panel recommendations)
- Matters relating to the WYFRS Interational Training Centre in respect of;
- training requirements of the Fire Service
- functioning and marketing of the facilities
- determination of course fees and charges
- equipment provision
