West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service will be holding fire safety workshops in Bradford as part of Carers’ Week 2012 (18 – 24 June).
Carers’ Connection is holding a ‘Keeping Safe’ event on Tuesday, 19 June, at Grange Interlink Centre, Summerville Road, Bradford, BD7 1PX. The fire safety workshops will take place at 11am and 2pm. The event will run from 10am to 3pm.
The event is aimed at carers and will offer pertinent safety advice on safety in the home, which will help carers to keep themselves and the person they care for safe.
A range of other partner agencies will also be in attendance, including Falls Prevention, West Yorkshire Trading Standards, NHS and Safe and Sound.
