PORTABLE GENERATORS FOR EMERGENCY LIGHTING
Petrol-driven Electrical Generators are issued to all wholetime stations (except where electrical generators are already installed) to provide illumination on station should the normal lighting fail.
The generator wiring is independent of all other electrical circuits and terminates at a connection in open air. On failure of, or a warning that a failure is imminent, the generator should be connected to the wiring system.
