The stores warehouse is responsible for providing an efficient and cost effective delivery and collection service for a wide range of goods including mail, operational equipment, clothing and personal protectve equipment to meet the requirements of a modern Fire & Rescue Service.
We deal with day to day management and marking of equipment utilising the Equipment Management System(Redkite) to track and monitor equipment in line with our legal obligations e.g. LOLER, PUWER etc.
We also purchase and supply spares, consumables, materials and specialised services to the Workshops/Bodyshop fleet/equipment.
The logistic stores provide 24hr cover for urgent Operational Equipment to be exchanged via MACC,First Call Officer or H.Q.Duty Officer.
