Course Aims and Learning Outcomes
One Day Fire Awareness / Marshall
At the end of the course, each delegate will have received training in the following subject areas:
- Human Behaviour
- Good Housekeeping
- Fire Hazard Spotting (Basic Risk Assessment)
- Means of Escape in Case of Fire
- Evacuation Procedures
- Causes Spread of Fire
- *Extinguisher Theory and Practical
Half Day Fire Awareness
At the end of the course, each delegate will have received training in the following subject areas:
- Human Behaviour
- Good Housekeeping
- Means of Escape in Case of Fire
- Causes Spread of Fire
- *Extinguisher Theory and Practical
Basic Fire Awareness / Extinguishers
At the end of the course, each delegate will have received training in the following subject areas:
- Causes Spread of Fire
- *Extinguisher Theory and Practical
* Each of the sessions will include:
- Identification of Extinguishers (EN3 and BS7863)
- Advantages and Disadvantages of different types of Extinguishers
- Fire Fighting Practical use of Extinguishers
