6 Minutes of the Last Meeting
The Minutes of the meeting held on 27 June had not been published and
would be submitted to the next meeting of the Committee for approval.

10 Applications for Position of Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive
(This item was considered as exempt information under Schedule 12A (1) of
the Local Government Act 1972 –relating to an individual)
The Committee interviewed shortlisted candidates for the position of Chief Fire Officer
and Chief Executive.
Resolved
That Mr Simon Pilling be appointed to the post of Chief Fire Officer and Chief Executive
with effect form 8 September 2008.
