RESPIREX TYCHEM TK LIMITED USE GASTIGHT SUIT
The Tychem TK gas tight suit is a one-piece suit designed to be worn over the BA set and meets the performance requirements of TYPE 1a gas tight limited use clothing.
The Tychem TK gas tight suit has been tested in accordance with prEN 943-1: 1997, which specifies the performance requirements both for the materials of construction and for the suit as a whole.
Its high visibility green material can distinguish the Tychem TK Gas Tight Suit from other Chemical and Gas Tight Suits.
A large semi-rigid visor is bonded to the suit giving the wearer a good field of vision.
The suit (4 figure) number is bonded to the visor and can be read internally and externally.
Two exhalation valves are fitted which automatically release any excess pressure that builds up inside the suit.
A 120cm gas tight zip is fitted to the right hand side of the suit. The zip is covered over by two outer flaps, which must be fastened by means of the Velcro strip once the zip is closed.
Safety boots conforming to EN345: 1992 are permanently bonded to the suit.
The Tychem TK gas tight suit is fitted with a dual glove system consisting of a laminated inner glove bonded to an outer Neoprene glove. The gloves are fitted to the suit by means of the Respirex locking cone and grommet system.
The 360degree CEJN swivel pass-through connection is fitted to facilitate supplementary air, to be passed to the wearers Breathing apparatus via a length of airline hose.
The waist of the suit is supported by means of an internal belt, attached to the belt is a pad designed to protect the wearer from the CEJN pass- through connector.
Attachment points are fitted to the outside to carry an ADSU and a personal line.
