AKRON 1" TURBOJET STYLE 1702 BRANCH

This is a controlled branch with variable flow ratings and adjustable stream pattern supplied specifically for hose reel use, but is suitable for use with low pressure systems.

The branch is fed through the rear via a full time swivel into which is screwed a Macdonald coupling when the branch is used with the hose reel. A pistol grip handle is fitted for ease of handling. The flow on/off is controlled by a D handle that operates a nylon ball valve.  The lever is pushed forward for "off" and pulled back for "on". A selector ring at the fore end of the shut-off allows a choice of four pre-set flows, also a flush position to clear debris from the nozzle. The pattern of the stream is varied from straight to full fog by turning the rubber bumper fitted to the nozzle tip. Spinning teeth are fitted to assist with the stream formation.
