LADDERS
All ladders within West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service are, at present, of metal construction. The extended length of ladders range from 5 to 14.1 metres. Drill handles and footing spigots are fitted to the 105 Ladder.
135-105 AND SHORT EXTENSION LADDERS
ROOF LADDER
There are two types of roof ladders in the brigade: one with a fixed hook, the other with a folding hook.
The folding hook is secured in position be means of a locking pin. Personnel must ensure that locking pins are inserted in position when the ladder is being used.

LIGHT ALLOY TELESCOPIC LADDER

Step Ladder
Staircase Ladder
Extension Ladder

There are two ladders, one within the other, which allows the ladder to be telescopically adjusted. When the correct ladder position is achieved, the rounds locking bolts should be inserted before personnel use the ladder.
