Station Clerk/Typist
Slaithwaite Station, 23 hrs/week
£15153 - £15842 pro rata (pay award pending)
As a key member of Slaithwaite Fire Station you will be responsible for general clerical and admin duties, including typing, sorting and distributing mail and dealing with any personnel related information.
Candidates must be proficient typists, have knowledge of Word Processing systems, Excel spreadsheets and good keyboard skills. The successful candidate will be literate and numerate, able to work flexibly and on their own initiative. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are a pre-requisite.

Management Accountant
Fire Service Headquarters, Birkenshaw
£30,598 - £34,991 per annum (pay award pending)
The principle remit of this role will be to develop and maintain financial information and reporting systems to support the Fire Authority’s delegated budget systems; and to support the Finance Manager in the preparation of the revenue budget and closure of accounts.
The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain financial information systems which will provide managers with effective information.
You will be a qualified CCAB accountant with extensive knowledge of financial procedures in a large public sector organisation; experience of preparation of detailed financial reports; experience of budget monitoring; and experience of closure of accounts.

Network Assistant
Fire Service Headquarters, Birkenshaw
£21,412 to £22,845 (pay award pending)
As a key member of the team you will provide technical support to the Fire & Rescue Service’s Local and Wide Area Networks including the management of hubs, switches, routers, firewalls and servers. The principal duties of the role include facilitating the installation, configuration and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
Applicants will have experience in a network support role within a large organisation and possess excellent working knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking. You will preferably be educated to HND/HNC level in a computer related subject (or possess equivalent experience) and must hold a Microsoft Networking qualification.
