West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue's Corporate Communications team provides a comprehensive range of services across the following:

The office is staffed during normal office hours but incident information is available 24/7 via a medialine: 0871 550 4046 and our Virtual Newsroom.

The team is led by Hannah Stoneman, who previously worked for Education Leeds and Greater Manchester Police. Her principal role is to develop and co-ordinate an integrated corporate communications service and increase the national, regional and local profile of an award-winning fire and rescue authority.

Media and Public Relations Unit

The Media and PR Unit is responsible for the media relations, internal and external communications, e-communications, corporate consultation, design and print.

Visual Services Unit

The Visual Services Unit is managed by Brian Saville and is responsible for photographic, video (film and digital and imaging material. It is involved in a variety of fire investigation work and liaises closely with outside bodies such as the Police to support their enquiries. The unit also produces publicity and community relations materials.
