We believe the most effective way to save lives, reduce injuries and other losses is to reduce the number of incidents that actually occur in the first place.

Community Relations & Community Safety is about achieving these goals through pro-active education involving a wide range of initiatives aimed at promoting a safe environment from fires, road traffic collisions and other emergencies.

This pro-active education is delivered by operational and dedicated corporate community fire safety personnel either in people's homes whilst carrying out home fire safety checks or by talking to members of the public through our attendance at schools, fetes, galas etc.

Additionally we run Youth Training schemes and we are currently in the process of forming partnerships with a variety of organisations to promote and educate the community by as many means as possible.

We are split into six functional units;

Arson Reduction

Learning Centre
