CFO Toase has overall responsibility for delivery of the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and its mission to reduce death, injury and property loss due to fire and other emergencies.

DCO Pilling is responsible for:
- The 48 Operational Fire Stations in West Yorkshire;
- Special Operations, including Technical Rescue & Hazardous Materials
- The Mobilising and Control Centre (MACC);
- Operational policy and Operational equipment procurement.
Mr Michael G Barnes, Solicitor
Director of Corporate Resources
Mr Barnes is the Solicitor to the Authority and also holds several statutory offices as Monitoring Officer Proper officer and Clerk to the Authority. In addition to personal responsibility for corporate governance ethics and legal affairs he has the following Corporate Management supervisory responsibilities:

- Property Management
- Information Management
- Information Technology
- Vehicle Management
- Procurement and Supplies Management
Assistant Chief Officer C McIntosh, DMS MIFireE
Director of Fire Safety and Community Relations
ACO McIntosh is responsible for delivery of all Fire Safety Services, including Legislative and Enforcement matters and the Community Fire Safety Programme.
District fire safety offices are located in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax and Wakefield which deal with all matters relating to fire safety in the workplace. The Community Fire Safety department is located at Bradford with risk reduction teams working in areas across the County.

Director of Human Resources
ACO Redfearn is responsible for the development and delivery of all personnel development and management issues and oversees:
- Training and Development, including the Training Centre.
- Employment Services Team
- Equalities and Recruitment Department
- Occupational Health & Safety Unit.
Mr Geoff Maren, CPFA
Chief Finance Officer
Mr Maren is the Statutory Finance Officer responsible for the administration of the financial affairs of the Authority as required under the Local Government Act 1985.
Services provided by the Finance Department include:

Payment of Creditors
Collection of Income
Treasury Management
Insurance
Internal Audit
